Personally, I prefer keeping my domain names with a large registrant and separate them from the web host. By doing so, I can change my domain DNS anytime I want and avoid myself from being locked with a particular web host.Yout opinions on this? Thanks.

Opinion of each client varies on this. Some clients prefer to register domains and host it with the same Hosting provider while some keep them separate. They register domains with a different provider and host it on a different providers server by updating the DNS. I think its better to keep both of them with a single provider rather than managing 2 different accounts, remembering passwords, making renewal payments, etc Managing two accounts with 2 different hosts cab become tedious sometimes.
I feel the domain name should be managed together with the same hosting company.
More over the hosting company also registered the domains name with bigger registers or registry using their API. More over the domain management becomes simple and faster with one point support contact..
Only what differs is the cost in cents..
The most basic choice when administering multiple domains is whether or not to do so with the same host. Most hosts offer packages which can be set up to allow several sites on one account, or allow individual sites to be operated under separate accounts.!
It entirely depends on the you. I have my domains and the hosting package with the same company as I find it easy to contact them for any issue, either the domain issue or the hosting issue.
It doesn't really add any hassle one way or the other. Personally so long as the company is reputable I don't see any major issue of having both the hosting and domain with one company.
I used to separate my domains from hostings cause there may be some problems with some hosting companies when you want to move you domain somewhere else. It happened to me.
Personally, I think that both domain names and web hosting should be kept at one place to make the management easier.
it is good to have domain and hosting at different point, never put all your eggs in one basket
Yes,It is better to keep domain name and web host at same place for the ease of use.
It is possible. You just need to set up the A record to your hosting via DNS.
