A)Based on a pricing comparison: The prices of both the email server, it is clearly stated that MailEnable is cheaper than SmarterMail. As compared to SmarterMail, in MailEnable, you can manage unlimited domain even in free version i.e. Standard edition. So, if you are just new to this email service, you can go with MailEnable.
As per the price is a concern, Professional edition of both the email server has slight changes in price. Hence if you prefer a better user interface then Professional Edition of SmarterMail will cost you a little bit more.
B) Based on the features: If you want to choose the email server based upon features, then both the email servers have its unique features and advantages. Both the email servers are easy to use. I would say, that SmarterMail has enhanced UI than the MailEnable but that does not mean MailEnable is any less than SmarterMail.
HI,
SmarterMails amenities allow an infinite amount of domains and addresses, desktop/mobile sync, instant message, user collaboration through various syncing methods (IMAP, POP, SMTP, SyncML).
SmarterMails includes multi-layer spam presentation achieving 97% protection, preventing the server from being compromised through support from SSL/TLS encoded connections, intrusion detection (IDS), and active directory integration.
MailEnable, also used by a wide range of corporate companies, is another top of the line email webservers. MailEnable sees successes through its features, including, imposing webmail, mobile connectivity, and anti-spam. It uses syncing methods in order to connect within accounts, using approaches such as IMAP, POP, SMTP, and SyncML.
The two products are really hard to compare because their so different. SmarterMail is used not only in small businesses and small hosting companies like mailenable, but it is also in some of the largest hosting companies in the industry due to its stability and scalability. Although mailenable has many features, the enhanced aspects of SmarterMail which include: Intrusion Detection, the multitude of SPAM integration options, very refined web interfaces for administrators and end-users, outlook and pocket pc integration, reporting and many others items are significantly different or in some cases don't exist in mailenable.
Hi, According to me Both Smartermail and Mailenable are the best to use. I prefer Smatermail because it is very easy and efficient to use compare of Mailenable. It is the best to use and many people prefer to use Smartermail.
I think both are really good to use in their own means. But, probably I will suggest you to use smarter mail over mail enable, because it is more efficient as compared to it and also has the beautiful and powerful GUI.

Using SmarterMail you can set your own spam filters which can knocks out about 90% of the spams. Hence there is no need to spend up big on anti-spam software.
