Hello Forum Helpers – I have a hopefully quick question and hope its a quick and easy answer..
I have my website currently on Drupal through GoDaddy, but I want to move to WordPress. My site is super small (10 pages) and I have no blog content to date. My intent was to install WordPress in the Application area, but I do not want to override Drupal that is on there, and I don’t want to take down the site.
My end goal is to set up WordPress and manually migrate over the style/css files as well as the content on the pages.
So If I install WordPress, will it..
(1) Take down my site and override Drupal?
(2) Work seamlessly next to Drupal on the same domain and not take it down?
(3) Work fine, and once I move over what I need to from the FTP on Drupal to Wordpress, I’m good to go and can delete Drupal?
Looking for my best option here and hoping to get away with it without needing to do any large coding steps.

Yes, definitely it is possible to migrate your site seamlessly from Drupal to Wordpress. Create another database and connect it with your wordpress blog. But, make sure once the new database is created remove the old database that you are using for Drupal.
Hi @ellis123 I would recommend installing WordPress to a directory on your hosting plan. That way, you can install and configure your WordPress site without affecting the active Drupal site.
