Hi,
I am new in this community, joined today to get help and get learn more about hosting.
I want to know about 1 domain hosting in 2 server. Searching in google but ans are not understable for me.
I have a domain in a server with nameserver ns1.server01.com and ns2.server01.com.
I want to setup another hosting for this domain for backup if 1st server going down for few minutes or few hours, site will show from 2nd server.
Is this possible? If possible, please explain the steps to setup 2nd server.
Thanks

Someone told me, he setup 2nd server hosting like 1st he done. In his domain nameserver 3 and 4, he put 2nd server ns1.server02.com & ns2.server02.com.
and it works. I dont know about it and see my own eyes is that really working or not.
Another one told me, to need set "A" zone to 2nd server's ip.
I am not sure about that. May be you have better experience to share.
Yes, ofcourse. You can host your domain on two servers which normally called clustering. If one server goes down all the traffics goes to another server.
But the clustering type is based on the server you choose. Like now cpanel providing dns clustering you can configure manual clustering or using some tools.
Yes, its perfectly normal and an often used scenario. Just configure your, for example, Apache server with the same virtual host(s) on both webservers. ... A simple way to use both servers is to use DNS round-robin, simply point the host/domainname to both IP addresses at once
Yes, you can host one domain in 2 servers, but normally webmaster use this method for backup purpose, In this process, if your server down or infected by hackers then automatically your domain choose 2nd server so that your visitors continuously running without downtime
It's possible, however you need assistance from your hosting provider, the service is called "mirror"
Actually he is simply talking about the cloud technology and nothing else.
