Which is The best Hosting Dedicated or VPS ?

Dedicated server is your own server which is act as your computer on which you can host the multiple sites, install applications and related services on it. You can built your own security alters and firewall on the dedicated server. You will have your own set of bandwidth, hard-disk and resources. You can rent the disk space, bandwidth, resources on the dedicated server.

You will have the root access of the server as it's your own server.

As it's your own server, you can manage it in your own ways. You can install anything which you would like to install. You can decide the security polices as per requirements. As it's dedicated server, you will have the full access to all the resources, bandwidth and all other things. You can run the heavy applications easily on the dedicated server.

You can update the applications as per you need. You can stop the services when you would like. It's dedicated to you

VPS is your own server with root access. You can host anything on it as it's your server. You can have any applications, software. You will have the bandwidth, resources, inode only for your service, it won't get shared with any other server. You will get dedicated resources for your service on VPS. You can manage the server in your way.

Server will have good up-time and security measures if you will manage it from your end as there won't be interfere of other service. You will have root SSH access too.

You should only choose the hosting type according to your requirements. If your website is not built using any advanced technologies, then it will require less server resources. In such case you can choose shared hosting.
If your website has a huge traffic and built using advanced technologies, then it will require a lot of server resources. Dedicated or VPS server is best option for this. If you want to get a hosting account with the capabilities of VPS sever with affordable cost then you can consider cloud hosting services.
I use both cloud hosting and shared hosting accounts. My WordPress blog is hosted in a shared hosting account and some sensitive data is hosted on my cloud hosting account in Stage2Data.

VPS hosting is similar to shared hosting but you get a virtual environment unlike shared hosting. In VPS hosting, your don’t have to face the security issue as you get an independent environment. VPS hosting is costly but cheap than a dedicated server.

In a dedicated server, you get the complete server for your website. You don’t need to share the server with other users. Also, a dedicated server is expensive than a VPS.

I think the main difference between VPS and dedicated hosting is the independent environment. Though on VPS you get virtual environment for your website but you need to share the server with others. In dedicated servers, you are the whole and sole owner of the server.

Since you want hosting to host your blogging site, then it is recommended that you first analyze the traffic to your blog and then decide on the hosting package.

If you have a low traffic, then go for Shared Web hosting.
If it is attracting a moderate traffic then you must choose VPS hosting.
If your blog is extremely popular then you can go with dedicated web hosting.

If you are about to start a blog then, it is recommended that you must start with Shared hosting because you can anytime upgrade to higher packages as the traffic volume demands it.

As you are still starting with your blog posting site go with VPS insttead of Dedicated servers as dedicated servers are very expensive and apt to host sites with very high traffic on daily basis. Hence go with VPS as your website will gain dedicated resources, dedicated IP and isolated environment without any nagging neighbours like shared hosting.

If you want to start a blog website, then you will not need dedicated hosting or VPS hosting in the beginning. You can start your blog with a basic shared hosting account first and then upgrade to VPS / dedicated hosting as your website requirements increase.

There is no "the best", however you are free to choose the most suitable according to budget and available features from different options. As for me for beginners it is wise to start with VPS plan because you will learn basics of server optimizations

Dedicated servers are more powerful and reliable than VPS server and hence, gives the fast response to their customers. They are far more better than VPS services, while VPS servers are also quite good enough for the purpose of hosting.

A blog can be hosted and managed easily using a VPS hosting plan. But if you are planning for a bigger website, you would require a dedicated server plan for more customization and security of your online data.

This is the first thing you look at in a host, if it provides the space, bandwidth and add-on domains you need incase your site becomes successful.

I think you must go with Vps plan if you think that you have good visitor on your blog site than you can shift to Dedicated server

Try narrowing your list of options by looking at the cheapest web host package that can meet your needs at the same time.

dedicated hosting would definitely be the best choice as long as you can afford it.
