Depends on what your website requires. Cloud hosting is generally cheaper than Dedicated, but it doesn't allow you the same level of control, the same number of resources and bandwidth as a Dedicated server does.

If your website is at the medium stage of growth, I would suggest you go for a Cloud server. Investing in a Dedicated server when your website doesn't have enough volumes of web traffic per day is a waste of money in my cash.
