It is a great place to start your web hosting business. I just have a web site for health and fitness - fitclub.co.il and I am really getting more than enough.

The pricing plans are a great value for speed of serving, and the allowances very generous for today's media-rich traffic. If there is one small thing I would add to my wish list, and that is in the web stats area. I would like to be able to select the full list of page visits for a single day's traffic, or a chose period (say, past week). But this is a very minor thing compared with the overall solid and friendly hosting experience.

A couple of times I have emailed them about an issue that they normally did not support, but each time they went out of their way to meet my extra needs. Performance and up time are the best of any web service I have ever used. I am not in love with their email list services, since you can't bulk upload the mailing list. We put out a monthly newsletter and is would be easier to update the mailing list with a bulk upload, rather than editing addresses one at a time.

I signed up with them and what made me positive impression was that the account was activated instantly. The support team are easily reachable over email phone and chat. It is quite a bargain for the price I pay. I have been using their services for more than 1 year and recommend them to any one looking for reliable hosting.

I tried a lot of hosters, but I always had bad support and a lot of problems with server down time and of course no customer service at all. When I found Host-ed, I begun with the free package, and few months later, I bought the personal one, it was so good to me that by the time I've been for 1 year with them I decided to go for a VPS! It is definitely the best solution in terms of hosting I had so far. I have to congratulate the nice 24/7 technical and sales support, always solve any kind of problems immediately! I am convinced I've made the best choice and look forward to a continuous and prosperous relationship!

They even re-installed my content management system for me after they found out the problem I had stemmed from me installing the wrong version. Great features. Their prices are great but not the cheapest. I highly recommend these guys!

I didn?t even know what is hosting but a friend of me told me that I need is so they can see my page. The support of the host-ed help me set the site. They really fast answer my question when I ask how to do it. Very good support they have that?s why the service is more than 99% up, not slow too. I usually get a reply within an hour, and they're always polite and friendly. Good communication and customer service is key to a great web-host, and host-ed has these qualities in spades. 5 out of 5 for customer service! Elsewhere everything else is great; prices, storage space, bandwidth etc.

• Review by : Andrei Vloscinschi Reviewed on : 07/05/2010 Review : Over the last few months so, it has been increasingly difficult to make contact with my previous hosting company support team. Most wait times on the phone or chat have been in excess of 45 minutes and if I opened a ticket online, it could take 10 - 24 hours before getting a response much less a answer. There have been times when PHP/MySQL board/DB was working incorrectly-not on my errors or any changes I had done. At the end they were not even able to provide me with the transfer info of my domain name so I had to register a new one. I filed for a divorce with my previous provider just a few weeks before my renewal with them! Hitched up with host-ed.net in a flash. Transferred all files to host-ed.net server and reset the DNS name servers. Host-ed control panel is basic on the front end but has good depth as you move into the needed functions. The support emailed me in 5 minutes after I signed up with all the needed DNS name servers and a login. Had a issue with PHP to the new site and need to change config.php file. Emailed support and in 10 minutes they were back with the correct link and in fact went in and did the edit of the file for me. Everything was up and running. Took no more than an hour for the domain name to resolve and show on Host-ed. Great support! Good server speed and a fair price for the product.

Back at the time I was having an aggressive advertising campaign I had my site with up to 2000 visitors per day and I had no problems. Only once I had an issue with MySQL database, but it was a temporary issue and it was fixed 10-20 minutes after it had occurred. It is a great investment.

Once I even had this problem and the system administrators changed the way the system was build to fix my problem. I was so surprised when I heard that. In other hosting providers the best you can get is a canned response and polite excuse, but yet a refusal to do something that big for you. Now, that's a customer service.

Within no time at all I had been telephoned by a customer representative and very soon afterwards, my site was on line. It took no time at all to be on line. I can recommend these people highly enough. I had a couple of problems and e-mailed for tech support. I even got a reply on Sunday. The other companies - I am still waiting for any sort of contact from either of them.

Usually this method provided me a lot of negative reviews, but not with host-ed. So I decided to try them. Thus far I am very pleased. Initial site up in hours, all support queries responded to extremely quickly, easy control panel for a novice such as myself, etc.Still, I\'d recommend them to a friend for sure.

The only issue they ever had with my site was with MySQL database and some of their servers hosted there were intermittently unavailable. Support is web-based but still good enough to compensate some other phone support hosting providers. I have recommended them to others and everyone who ended up using their service was quite happy.

The best thing is customer support, any question you have will be answered within a few minutes minutes and not with a predefined template, but with a human written exact and precise response. Their uptime is fantastic and ability to upgrade and downgrade is a plus, over all I highly recommend host-ed.

It worked for a while, but then the server I was on went down. I submitted a ticket, and after several days, I didn't get a response. After studying several user review sites, I went to host-ed.net, and I've never been happier! I've contacted support a couple of times in the evening and weekends, and they've responded and processed my requests within 15 minutes (by email!) So far, I haven't experienced any downtime, and the servers are fast.

All have failed me in one way or another that was crucial to me (monthly traffic issues, uptime, banner ads, too expensive and etc) The only service that I have stuck to is host-ed.net. In short, the service is excellent. The upside is probably the best technical support service I have ever known in all my 10 years of internet usage. If you want a great hosting experience, none like host-ed.
