Yes. A VPS is isolated from other users, and is thus much more secure than a shared hosting solution. However, security must continuously be at the forefront of the end-user’s mind: strong password policies must be enforced for users, anti-malware and anti-virus applications must be installed and regularly updated, and it is critical to ensure that both Windows updates as well as Third Party updates and upgrades are promptly installed.
