CPanel Plugins
CPanel Plugins are added interface links in the CPanel interface. You can see the list of plugins installed on your server from WHM -> Plugins.
Plugins allow hosts to add links to applications they have developed, or third party links, even those outside of the cPanel interface.
Adding a plugin to the cPanel interface:
First of all you need to generate an installation file to provide configuration data for the interface using the Install file Generator.
Installing the Plugin:
Once you generate the install file, you will need to install it, to do so, follow these steps
1. Copy the install file to /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ on the server
2. Run /usr/local/cpanel/bin/register_cpanelplugin <name of install file>
After running the register script, you should see various output. In this output, cPanel is registering your Plugin with the different themes and branding packages on your server. Once the script has been run, the Plugin should appear within the cPanel interface on the server.
Uninstalling Plugins:
You can uninstall a plugin using the following command:
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/unregister_plugin <name of install file>
