I have had 5 domains hosted with Powweb over the past 4 years. Powweb was a great host until they were acquired 2 years ago by a mega-corporation Endurance International Group, Inc. The corporation is known for buying out a quality hosting services and then market the daylights out of it. Now the reliability is pitiful and it takes multiple support contacts to even have them acknowledge that there is a problem/outage before tier 2 & tier 3 support get involved. Either an email server or web server fails about every 30-45 days. Tech support is in India and Philippines and they are not given information when there is a systemic outage etc.Read More »
